Our goal is to raise over $30,000 for great causes and charities! Help us get there. 

 

Welcome to the 7th Annual Suncoast-Tarpon Shoot-out presented by Conley Buick GMC & Hooters! First and foremost, we’d like to thank our anglers, sponsors and benefactors for their continued support in our combined effort to raise funds for great causes.

Last year we raised $29,500 split evenly between 4 great charities. This year our goal is to break the $30,000 mark! But we can’t do it without support. We hope you’ll choose to get involved in our tournament and join us for a fun-filled weekend on the water while helping serve those who serve us!

“Creating healthy tomorrows…for one child, for all children.” All Children’s Hospital provides expert pediatric care for infants, children and teens. 

Helping our Nation’s warriors and veterans from all branches of the US Military unwind using the therapeutic qualities of fishing.

Providing support for soldiers at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and beyond. 

Helping veterans regain their independence, return to civilian life, and maintain successful partnership through the training and placing of PTSD service dogs.

Sniper (Captain) Division

Fishing Boundaries: Stump Pass to Ft. Desoto

Start time is 6 a.m. on Sunday – No lines in the water!

Cut-off time is 2 p.m. on Sunday – LINES OUT!

Max. 4 anglers per boat & 4 lines in the water at once

Participant may not split up between 2 boats

All anglers must have proper safety gear on board

6′ of leader can only be used

Chumming allowed – LET THE SCALES FLY!

Please, no spotters

Anchoring allowed.

No tarpon out of water

In case of a tie, earliest time on text on 1st fish caught will win

Winners subject to polygraph

Must have tarpon at side of the boat and take picture with tournament approved object

Gunslinger (Amateur) Division

Fishing Boundaries: Stump Pass to Ft. Desoto

Start time is 6 a.m. on Sunday – No lines in the water!

Cut-off time is 2 p.m. on Sunday – LINES OUT!

Max. 4 anglers per boat & 4 lines in the water at once

Participant may not split up between 2 boats

All anglers must have proper safety gear on board

6′ of leader can only be used

No chumming allowed. Period. 

Please, no spotters

No Anchoring allowed (may use trolling motor)

Hired Captain’s are allowed- only as operators of boat. (Cannot participate in fishing in any capacity)

No tarpon out of water

In case of a tie, earliest time on text on 1st fish caught will win

Winners subject to polygraph

Must have tarpon at side of the boat and take picture with tournament approved object

Kayak/Fly/Paddleboard Division

Fishing Boundaries: Stump Pass to Ft. Desoto

FLY DIVISION ONLY – Can use boat.

Participant may not split up between 2 boats

All anglers must have proper safety gear on board

6′ of leader can only be used

No Chumming. Period.
